Welcome

Hi!

Welcome to Finding Your Inner Voice! Over the next 11 days, we will explore everything from authentic expression to connection to self-care and more. These are tools that have helped me immensely to express my inner voice and I want to share them with you. On each day of the workshop, I share the daily themes and exercises through my writing and my voice (audio and video) and I encourage you to engage with all three mediums.

This workshop isn’t a test or an audition so it’s up to you to show up fully, in a way that feels good to you, and create space to apply these themes and exercises to your life. That said, I can’t make you finish the entire workshop but I can confidently tell you that applying these tools daily in my life has transformed my life for the better — I am much happier and healthier because of my process in learning these tools. I feel confident these tools and this process will enhance your life if you let it!

Please be mindful that this workshop can bring up intense feelings or the need for support. That is totally ok! I highly recommend seeking support when and how you need whether that is through a friend, a parent, an adult you trust, or a professional. We all need extra support from time to time and that is a really beautiful thing! Make sure to care for yourself during this introspective work and call on support if you need it.

This workshop is yours forever. It’s a gift for you to use as you need on the journey to finding your inner voice. Revisit the lessons anytime.

So grateful you’re here!

With love,
Eva

Essentials:

  1. journal

  2. pen or pencil

  3. crayons or markers (-or- colors of any type)

  4. earphones for video & audio

Things to consider:

  1. set your stage: As you travel through the workshop, it’s important to have a space that is just for you so you can fully express and self-discover! Imagine it’s your personal stage to expand and shine. This could be an area of your house, your room, a place in nature, or somewhere where you can engage in the workshop uninterrupted. It’s also totally ok to plug in your headphones and listen on the go, before an audition, in a library, or coffee shop if that’s what’s available to you that day. However, be mindful that many of the exercises are quite personal so making space for solitude is really valuable to getting the most out of the lessons in the workshop. After all, this workshop is about finding your inner voice and in order to do that you need to set a space, your “stage”, where you can be totally you and express freely!

  2. schedule: Move through this workshop day by day or at a pace that’s comfortable for you. I highly recommend taking time to let the lessons integrate day by day so not skipping ahead or rushing through each day’s lesson & exercises. This ensures that you give enough space, energy, and time needed to fully absorb everything we will cover together.

  3. questions, comments, & concerns: I'm so grateful you’re committed to learning in this workshop with me. I, Eva, will not be able to communicate directly with you about any questions or comments as they might arise. Fit for Broadway has an amazing team who can assist in technical issues or necessary feedback (see link to FFB support below). Additionally, for any questions or conversation topics that may arise regarding the workshop content and process, we have created a supportive Facebook group to connect with other people who are also engaged in the workshop. If you’d like to share your journey on social media, feel free to tag me & Fit for Broadway!

  4. tech tips: Because this is a Fit for Broadway workshop, the FFB team is able to answer any questions pertaining to technical issues that may arise. I, Eva, will not be able to answer questions directly regarding technical support or inquiries regarding the workshop content or process so please refrain from reaching out to me on social media (or elsewhere) for those specific concerns. Instead, be sure to direct all questions to workshops@fitforbroadway.com so FFB can help assist you as you move through the workshop!

Things to remember:

  1. Revisit the entire workshop as often as you need or revisit lessons that you want to go deeper on with regularity. We don’t consider this a one and done experience. It’s here for you whenever you need to find your inner voice. An example of a really great way to use this with regularity is listening to one of your favorite audio exercises before an audition or when you need a pick-me-up!

  2. This workshop is yours and can be incredibly beneficial if you allow yourself the process of self-discovery. That requires a certain level of time and commitment to engage. Meaning, you can simply watch, read and listen to each day but the full experience is practicing the exercises and applying the themes we explore together. That’s really where the magic is! Find comfort knowing I am also practicing these tools daily.

  3. Each day can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour (or more) to watch, read, listen, and practice depending on how much time you want to spend journaling and in the self-discovery. This is meant to be an opportunity for you to connect and learn at a pace and flow that is unique to you. It’s about showing up fully and exploring each day with intention and that will look different for everyone. Trust your process.

  4. Each day consists of Video, Written, and/or Audio content. Make sure to watch, read, and listen to all segments for the day you’re focused on as there are various exercises and tools for you in each piece of content.

Additionally: A mantra is a word, phrase, or sound repeated to aid concentration and focus on a particular thought or feeling.
