#FFB: Taylor Louderman

I wasn't sure what to expect when I met Taylor for the first time which was on one of the hottest days in New York City at a sweat lodge called Shape House (sincerest thanks to Ashley Park for sweat on a sweaty day).

#FFB: Samantha Pollino

Samantha, who I still have a hard time calling anything but "Peanut" (Instagram handles really do stick!), is a breath of fresh air and #fierce. We have been in contact for awhile about putting together a feature and finally, finally got to it just as she sets sail with Head Over Heels on Broadway.

#FFB: Kimberly Dodson

Breath of fresh air, this one right here! Kimberly is a tell-it-how-it-is champion of self-love. We bonded over our obsession with mental health, the unspoken and written girl code, and a Broad(er) way to view life, happiness and fulfillment. Interested in understanding solitude vs. loneliness? Kimberly sheds light on the importance of that distinction and her journey through both.

#FFB: David Korins (Part 2 of 3)

Welcome to "What makes you, you?", a three part conversation with David Korins. After focusing much of the last year exploring the topic of mental health, I was intrigued when David listed therapy as the first step to designing your life during his TED X Broadway talk last month.

#FFB: Timothy Hughes

What do Pabbie in Frozen and The Strong Man in The Greatest Showman have in common? Undeniable strength and a pair of impressively long eyelashes belonging to Timothy Hughes. Regularly, I am reinforcing the Fit for Broadway mission extends past physical strength.

#FFB: David Korins (Part 1 of 3)

“How are you feeling?” is a question we rarely ask or answer openly and probably the strongest driving force of the daily choices shaping us. After focusing much of the last year exploring the topic of mental health, I was intrigued when David Korins listed therapy and this question as the first step to designing your life at TED X Broadway last month.

#FFB: Salisha Thomas

Salisha is a literal burst of sunshine, as you can see in the photo above. From the second she sat down with me, she was beaming from ear to ear telling me the stories of peculiar events that led her to Broadway (keep reading for some old fashioned New York City magic).

#FFB: Erika Henningsen

Mid-photoshoot, Erika looked at me and said, "I think I'm going to take these off," as she started plucking off her fake lashes one by one with her iPhone as a mirror. If any moment sums up the cool girl vibes she gives off, it's that one. And "cool girl" meaning the girl who is unapologetically herself and therefore completely magnetic, inclusive and disarming; the kind of qualities you want in a best friend or boss.

#FFB: JON RUA ANSWERS "WHAT'S CREATING YOU?"

A few weeks ago I got to meet up with Jon Rua, who I originally met as the Pirate in Spongebob Squarepants on Broadway when he highjacked a selfie pre-show. I got to see a totally different side to Jon's art with a studio freestyle and live interview talking about joy, fulfillment and what it means to love your job and love almond flour.

Day 1: Amanda Jane Cooper answers "What's Creating you?"

Amanda posted a photo, maybe a year ago, wearing the You Are Enough tank, and it was the first time I saw this lovely, lovely, sweet BEing. We finally met and soul sister sparks flew as we exchanged stories and history. Our afternoon culminated in an outpouring of admiration for each other; what a gift to meet a matching open heart.

#FFB: SHOBA NARAYAN

If I could nominate a Broadway President, Shoba would be my #1 pick. This woman is grounded in her roots, über talented, passionate, multi-dimensional, and one of the kindest people you will ever meet. Let's get to voting but first, check out her journey to Broadway which has been full of self-discovery, determination, and curiosity.

Ethnicity on Broadway: A feature with Sharone Sayegh

I met Sharone at an event for The Band's Visit where I first felt and heard the heartbeat of this beautiful show. You could feel the pulse of everyone's passion for bringing a new story to Broadway- a new ethnicity to Broadway. Sharone shared with me her excitement and pride for representing her lineage on stage for the first time and immediately I knew her Fit for Broadway story would include a deeper narrative of her roots.
