What was the biggest “Aha!” moment of your Snatched journey?
Chris & Clay: Neither of us had never done any work with kettle bells, but we have always been intrigued by, and a little intimidated by them. Learning so many different kinds of ways to use them was awesome! It was a good reminder that with a little guidance, something that scares you is absolutely possible to conquer. And we have the MFF team to thank for that!
Group fitness is…
Chris & Clay: Empowering. Every single person in the class is coming into the same class from a completely different journey. But the team at MFF is so great about pushing every single person safely to their own personal fitness journey limits. It was encouraging to all be on our own individual journeys together!

Someone who impacted your journey at MFF and how?
Clay: My fiancé Christopher. I am not a morning person at all, but with the encouragement of Chris, I got my butt out of bed and to class before 8:30am three times a week for six weeks! That was a feat in itself! It was also helpful to have him in class, working out beside me. And having an accountability partner with the eating portion was immensely helpful!!
Chris: Honestly, the entire staff was 100% welcoming and made us feel right at home from day one. They were assertive and always happy to help or answer questions. They have their sh*t together over there at MFF and the team mindset is very apparent.
MFF is a unique gym because…
Chris & Clay: MFF makes working out fun! They have silly ways to help you remember integral safety information for each exercise, taking your mind off the “work out” part!
Fitness + food =
Clay: A happy, healthy life! “Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don’t shoot their husbands, they just don’t.”
Chris: I cannot believe my fiancé answered with a Legally Blonde quote. Now, back to the question. I’ve never been any good at math, but I believe Fitness + Food = potential. Potential to be a healthier, stronger version of yourself. Healthier and stronger than the day before!
The approach to eating differently was…
Clay: Having an accountability partner! Chris and I would suffer through healthy green juices together. That was a big step for me.
Chris: Aiming to eat high protein meals will staying away from sugar. That’s how I looked at it. And it paid off!
If MFF was 3 emojis what would they be?

This deepened our relationship because…
Chris & Clay: We went through this really tough, kickass program TOGETHER. We stayed focused, motivated, and helped push each other. We definitely feel stronger on the other side of Snatched- both physically and as a couple! It created another chance for us to see each other accomplish something big too!

Chris & Clay: Literally anyone looking to begin or intensify their fitness journey! In our group class, there were people at every stage of their fitness journey, and the MFF team was great at pushing everyone, while keeping it fun.
